It all started with a dream to be in Seventeen Magazine... My dream finally came true when Seventeen Magazine discovered me while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. From then on, I enjoyed many modeling and fashion industry successes. I appeared on the cover of Jimmy Choo's 15th Anniversary Crystal Collection and three novels Shadowshaper, Shadowhouse Fall, and Shadowhouse Legacy. I was also featured in advertisements for Harper's Bazaar, W Magazine, Dr. Scholl's, Nine West, and many more campaigns.
Because I had a strong interest in the fashion business along with my Apparel Merchandising and Product Development Degree, I have also worked in high-end fashion showrooms. I learned the intricate details of the selling process and how to present key pieces while working behind the scenes. I even traveled to London and Virgin Islands to watch trends in fashion shows.
Even though I enjoyed the successes of modeling and the fashion industry, I discovered that my first love and passion were traveling and zen music. My best writing and creative ideas came from experiencing other places, people, and melodies, which helped me learn more about myself. New York Spirit Magazine contacted me after I wrote a post detailing my experience in a solar-powered artist studio hidden in the peaceful mountains of Brattleboro, Vermont. I woke up one morning in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and decided that it was time to open a beauty boutique. I discovered the exotic fragrances for the Hawaiian Spa Beauty and Bath brand in Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii.
After years of modeling for various brands, working in fashion showrooms, and traveling, I decided to transition into the beauty and wellness world by launching my shop, Nuré Spa. I took this approach after receiving a lot of beauty, skincare, and libido questions from women. And after that trip to Hawaii and the spirit and essence I felt there, I wanted to translate that feeling into my work.
Nuré Spa is for the woman who desires to awaken her sensuality and femininity and illuminate her radiance. As she learns the secrets to awakening her sensuality and indulges in the Nuré potions of the Hawaiian Spa Beauty and Bath Collection (coming soon) and the massage melts of Sensual Beauty Massage Oil Candle, she will revitalize her sensual beauty and become desired.
I am pleased that I accomplished everything I set out to do. However, it's not the end of the story. The dream continues today with living a fulfilled life of travel, art, and beauty, hoping to inspire others.
